Should The Dark Knight get oscar?

Should the Dark knight get an oscar or even just Heath Ledger?
Just watched it on DVD yesterday and I def think he should, portayed the Joker brilliantly.

Whats the competition for an oscar? like has there been any really good other films out this year? I cant think of any worthy of an oscar. The film Australia was released here. The closed half of Georges Street (the main street in sydney) for the red carpet premiere. but then it turned out the film wasnt any good. I reckon it needed more 'splosions!

That Australia film looks multi McBoring! Splosions or no Splosions.

I haven't seen Dark Knight, so dunno about Oscar lol! Twilight should win one just cause the books are awesome.

Pfft! Books have their own awards!!

Dark Knight is pretty cool. Its an action film though. A lot of Oscars go to ter jerky emotion-y crap, so cant see it getting an oscar. Maybe a token nomination coz of Heath Ledger.

Though will that mean The Client will get a retro token award coz of Brad Renfro??
