Final Team after tinkering.

My advise is to load up with Aston Villa players until round 8. Also load up with WBA players round 3-8.(i.e pickup Odemwingie unless he is transfered and assuming he is fit round 3)

sure then you'll be stuck with Villa players after GW8!
Given is a season long player for me though. I actually have Bent as well but sold N'Zog.

Here's my team at the moment. Who knows if I'll change it again tonight...

Based on the Following heat maps you will probably want Bosingwa or Cole in your team. They are doing just as much attacking as defending. Bosingwa at 5.5mil seems a bargain.

How do u read them heat maps?
The FPL twitter recommended Bosingwa today. Seems good value for £5.5m alrite.

Need to start earning big points this week. Havent had the best start!

Bottom of the heat map has chelsea with arrow pointing attack direction. 3 boxes in is halfway. Obviously bottom is right side of the pitch. % is amount of passes fromm that area.

Bad news is Bosingwa is now 5.6mil. i am 0.1mil short, for s straight swap with alcaraz as I had 1mil in the bank.

Im flying to Scotland tomorrow morning until Monday so I need to sort my team out 2nite, if I'm to make any changes.

Good call on Bosingwa. He's doing well the last few weeks!

Have you got any more of them heat maps?

I think everyone had a bad gameweek this week, with Aguero out, Silva starting from the bench, and a load of others not starting. I should still be pushing for 50 points this week, if I get some luck with the bonus points.

Ramsay and Arteta vs Spurs.

Displays that Arteta play in a lot more defensive mid role, with Ramsay given the freedom to push a little more forward. 35% of Ramsey’s passes in open play were in his opponents’ final third of the pitch, with Arteta managing just 14%.

Has some archived chalkboards (they do take quite a while to load). Aparently you can make your own using their stats as well. Will have a look and report back. Looks like you can get good data back out like the link below:

Nice!
I had a look at some other ones there and its not just passing heat maps, theres also passing success/fail diagrams showing arrows of where the passes were successful and where they gave the ball away.

Interesting stuff.

Still though, I'm top of nearly all me leagues as of this week, and I still have 10m in the bank! Though I sold Rooney and Aguero and I've 1 sub left this week so I might sell Dzeko and bring in Robin van Persie and make him captain.
