Did you wildcard them in or always had 2 Everton players lurking?

I took the 4 point hit to make 3 transfer this week. So I already had Assou-Ekotto and Adebayor, then bought in Bale, Osman and Jagielka. I didnt make a sub last week so had 2 transfers available.

Absolute Bargain. In form since he has gotten a run in the first team. Absolute control even in 1 inch of snow, he was dribbling along like he was on astro turf.

Ye, I got him in pretty early. Saved 0.1!! haha

He's an interesting player. 6 months ago playing for Derry, and now tearing defenders apart in the premiership. BTW, last summer there was a tournament in Dublin, called the Dublin Super Cup or something. It had Celtic, Inter Milan and Man City, as well as a selection of players from the League of Ireland. McClean was on that team. I remember watching all the games and he played on the left wing. You could see then he had talent. Easily going passed the City full backs like they werent there!

Now this week there's talk of him being brought into the Republic of Ireland squad for the friendly against the Czech Rep on Feb 29th. If he impresses, we've another friendly or two before Euro 2012. While I'd love to see him go, the problem is he's gonna have to replace one of the more established players, who also would have helped the team actually qualify for the tournament. I'd say it'd be shitty to be that player and then get left at home, while some bloke goes instead of you who had nothing to do with the team qualifying. Also, Trapattoni has said he wants to be loyal to the team that qualified, so maybe if someone gets injured, he'll be brought in. We'd be talking about the likes of Seamus Coleman, I reckon. Saying that, either way he'll be in the squad for the World Cup in September. He'll slot straight in to replace Duff if he retires in the summer.

Really? I didn't even notice! Thanks for the heads up!

So does this mean that Liverpool and Everton get a double gameweek soon? Or was it those two that had the double gameweek a while ago?

So if Everton already had the DGW, that just leaves Liverpool by themselves. Weird.Wonder how they'll get around that!

Also, did you see James McClean got a call up to the Irish squad for the friendly at the end of the month? He's tipped for greatness!! haha
