UEFA Euro 2012 Fantasy Football

UEFA have opened up their fantasy football game. Link: http://en.euro2012fantasy.uefa.com

Its similar to all the existing ones, like the premier league, but its closer to the World Cup one from 2010.

There's really only one BIG rule change to note with this one:
Defending bonus:
For every 5 recovered balls (the total of clearances completed and gaining possession tackles) -1pt

General rules:
100m to start off with
2 players per team
Captain gets double points
No Vice captain available
Captain can be changed during the gameweek, same as during the WC2010 game.
1 transfer during the group stages,
unlimited for quarter finals
8 for semis
4 for final

This is also similar to the World Cup game, where players got an attacking bonus for bringing the ball inside the box. Although, its pretty much the exact opposite of that!! :lol:

Anyway, first deadline in June 8th. Get cracking!

Can anyone explain the "Captain can be changed during the gameweek" rule? Is this can be changed to anyone? or just to a player who is yet to play.

If its the same as the World Cup fantasy football, then you can change ur captain only to someone who has not yet played, and only if your current captain has not been sent off. You also can't change it back to the original captain once u change it.

Aparently, you can sub any player who has played for an player yet to play during the gameweek.

I'm such a dickhead! I made a team weeks ago as a placeholder, with the intention of changing the team closer to the tournament. I totally forgot!! Cant believe it!!

That was a complete write-off anyway!! Forgot to update my team for the last 2 gameweeks. I only just remembered before kick off!
