Ireland crash out of Rugby World Cup

I got up at 5am to watch this game.

I went down to The Woolshed (the local Aussie bar/early house) and could barely get a seat. They had to open up the downstairs section, and even then all the seats were taken! The plan was to watch Ireland beating Wales, then stay on in the pub and watch England vs France to see who we'd be playing next week.

Two minutes into the game, Ireland conceded their first try! Serious bummer! I figured we had the whole game to come back, we'll probable just ease into it!

I couldnt believe the first half! Or the second half! I was so gutted when we lost. 2 of the tries should not have been scored, end of! We also shouldnt have made so many errors! Its all "ifs and buts" but I think Ireland are the better team. However, Wales were definitely the better team on the day.

At least we still have the soccer to look forward to!

Wales went out hard, Ireland was shellshocked and never recovered. All up good hard game. Would have prefered the reverse result.

hah, you're tellin me!! Ireland are well capable of beating France, so we'd have a good chance of a final against the kiwis, if we had gotten through.

at least it means no more early mornings for me now! 5am trips to the pub are a killer!!
